A series of terraces well above the lake have becoming a serene and stunning necropolis over the centuries. Well-tended paths wind between family plots. Most plots are basically small gardens built around a number of grave markers. Urns are interred below the markers, and one marker may have many names on it. The markers themselves are a small history lesson, ranging from well-worn marble with names so worn they are hard to read to markers formed of modern materials with kami-infused screens scrolling the names of the dead.

At night, many of the plot gardens dance with holographic flames set above the markers.

The view from the necropolis is stunning. The lake below is crystalline blue, reflecting the clouds and forested mountains on its unsteady surface. A gentle murmur from the falls carries up to provide a constant backdrop of sound.
