The war was quick and brutal, leaving a Lion army occupying the Valley of the Centipede. A year later, a Lion governor still rules in Kyuden Moshi, and the players have been sent to attend the Bon Festival there as representatives of their clans.

GM: Narrator

Edition: L5R 4th Edition with some house rules. Some limitations on clans and families based on timeline.
Other information: 40XP
Players: would like between 3 and 12, preferably people who won't yell angrily at me or other players.

Hi I'm very interested but I'm curios about one rule:

Is there a specific reason you disallow kihos and katas? Seems like a hard knock for Bushis and Monks.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how political will this game be?

I've disallowed kiho and kata because I'm not that familiar with their game mechanics, and would like to reduce complexity.

For "how political the game will be", on a scale of 1 to 10, I'd say around 3. The player characters are not expected to be movers and shakers of the Empire, but the political situation certainly informs the game setting and game events. There will be opportunities to use courtier skills. Making friends with other player characters or NPCs will be helpful. I hope that answers your question!

Okay, I have applied and sent you an email with the character on it.
