While wandering around at night, you encounter a terrifying, headless ghost among the withered gardens of Kyuden Moshi!

Challenge:
You must Resist Fear 2 (raw Earth, add your honor, TN15) to join this event.
If you fail, you cannot join this event (but you may join a different event).
If you learned that the gardens were haunted on day 1, you may use 1 FR for one roll in this event (including Fear rolls).

Focus:
You find yourself face-to-face with a ghostly, headless figure dressed in battle armor. Despite not having a head, somehow it is writhing in pain and making terrible cries. What will you do? You may choose one of:

- You know something about ghosts! INT/Lore: Ghosts TN15, INT/Lore: Shadowlands TN15, or INT/Lore: Spirit Realms TN15
- You know something about the history of Kyuden Moshi! INT/Lore: Centipede TN15 or INT/Lore: History TN15
- You notice something about the ghost! PER/Investigation (Notice) TN15
- You are not afraid! You boldly confront it. Resist Fear 3 (raw Earth, add your honor, TN20) to pass. If you fail the Fear roll, you may continue to the Strike phase, but the Fear effect will apply to your roll.

Strike:
Surely the ghost's appearance is some sort of sign! You try to understand what its appearance here means.
You may roll one of: INT/Lore: Ghosts TN15, INT/Divination TN15 or INT/Lore: Bushido TN15. If you are Cursed by Gaki-Do, your TN is 5 higher.
You gain 1 FR for each other player who succeeded at a Focus attempt different than your own.
If you did not succeed at your Focus attempt, you must call 1 raise for no effect.
Remember that you cannot call raises or use free raises on unskilled rolls.

Rewards:
If you succeed at the Strike, you discern some meaning from the ghost's terrible cries; you gain 1xp and 1 rank of either Lore: Ghosts or Divination (your choice). Otherwise you gain 1xp. Successful raises will give additional details about the ghost.
If you fail at the Strike and belong to the Moshi family, you also gain the Haunted disadvantage.
