Kyuden Moshi is the beautiful and immaculate ancestral palace of the Centipede Clan, sitting at the foot of the Mountain of Lady Sun.
The palace is a four-story structure surrounded by a low wall. A torii arch is at the entrance, emblazoned with the symbol of Amaterasu and engraved with the phrase, "Light of All, Truth of All."
The Governor’s Court is on the lowest level of Kyuden Moshi, as are the libraries and classrooms of the Moshi shugenja school. The second level has been converted into guest quarters for distinguished guests. High ranking Moshi hostages have their chambers on the third level, and the Moshi daimyo and the Lion governor have their quarters on the top level. A complex system of mirrors causes reflected sunlight to fill the hallways and chambers of the Palace with light on sunny days.
Lion guards are omnipresent throughout the Governor’s Court and the upper levels of the Palace, and keep a close watch on any guests who stray into areas that they don’t belong.
