There aren't any specific changes to laws, other than certain families or clans being essentially outlaws due to rebellion or other reasons.

You can assume that your clan has provided an adequate, but not noteworthy gift to present in court; but if you would like to have a more splendid gift to present, drop a description of what you'd like to give in your private folder and how many koku you want to spend on it.
